Anyway, does prayer really work? Is there really a God who answers our prayer? Some will say God answers with a Yes, No, Later or I have other plans for you which is a subtle way of saying No.
In the Christian circle, even before your prayer is realized or answered, you already claim it. Now that's faith. To the non-Christian who prays the same and claims it, you call it visualization. But I think visualization is opposed to the Christian beliefs. It is like trusting in one self. But then again if it's trusting in one self, then you really don't pray to a God whom you believe can help you with your cause.
